I am not sure where to start. It has been so long since I have done an up date. I guess I’ll start with family outings, because I can only think of three. The family outings that we have done are going to Cole’s football games, seeing Sesame Street live and a little shopping trip to buy Halloween costumes for William and Cameron. Cameron picked out a Monkey costume, William choose a Bat, Kadance is going to be a Lion and Tristan will be our little Cow. I would have to say going to watch Sesame Street was the most fun of the three. I had to stand in line for three hours to get tickets, but even though I got a little sun burn it was worth it. Tristan wasn,t so sure about it!!! The rest of them loved it. Tristan had his two month check up and weighted in at 14lb 2 oz. and measured 23 ½ in. long. He had to get five shots, I hate having to take the kids for shots it is so sad. He ran a fever that night and was miserable. He is now all but three month old and is full of smiles. It is so fun to hear him learning how to use his voice. As for Kadance, he is surviving staying home with Mom and Tristan all day. To him everything is NEW these days. “Maybe in that NEW house.” Or “Let me ride that NEW bike.” My favorite is "How about I jump up high in that NEW Sky." He is so funny! He even gave Mike a bull ride the other night. He has started a play group and loves it. He only wishes that he could go more often. Cameron and William are doing really well in school. William comes home everyday and tells me about the naughty boy in his class. Cameron and William are sad that they can’t wear their cowboy boots to school. There teacher asked me not to send them in their boots because they can’t sit cross legged during circle time with them on. So I have two sad little boys. They are both learning more sign language in school and they give me a lesson everyday on what they have learned. As for Cameron, he has become mom’s and dad’s big helper, always doing anything that he is asked. Michael is still busy as can be with work and his hours have not gotten any better. In fact he was gone for two weeks in the field for training. He did take the three big boys to get fire wood the weekend he came home. He said that the boys stayed busy working almost the entire time. He said they worked hard for the money they earned, one whole dollar each. Then there is his side job coaching wrestling. Well for me I have just been trying not pulling my hair out taking care of my five boys. I did finish Cameron’s and William’s blankets that I have been working on forever, it seems like. I have got one book read and have started a new one. I have been trying to keep up with Tristan’s baby book & have been working on his scrapbook. Well were off again to enjoy our beautiful North Carolina Weather.

Well it has already been a month since we have been blessed with our new little guy and I am just now getting around to doing an update. As for Tristan, he is doing really well and seems to have grown a ton this last month. At his 1mo doc appointment he weighed 11 lb 2 oz and was 22 in. long. He isn’t sleeping as well as I would like him to at night. As a matter of fact he is horrible. I wish I could report that he was an angle but, he is my little devil when it comes to letting me get sleep. Kadance is doing really well he is getting quite fond of Tristan. As long as he doesn’t get in the way of Kadance getting what he wants. Kadance tries to be a good big brother by trying to pick up Tristan and bring him to me every time he cries. A couple of times I have been in a different room and Kadance has brought him to me. It scared me to death and I have tried to tell Kadance that he shouldn’t pick him up. By the forth time this happened, I came to the conclusion that if I can’t see Tristan then I have to make sure Kadance is with me. So yes that means I can’t even go to the little girls room alone. Tristan gets the pleasure of going with me. Besides that Kadance is doing really well. Sometimes he talks with Tristan, counts to him and I have even seen him share his monkey with him. I am quit proud of Kadance because I know that it can’t be easy for him. William is wishing that he had a little more attention, I think? He has seemed to become a little more of a hand full and seems to be more emotional. He doesn’t seem to pay lots of extra attention to Tristan but, dose interact with him some. I think that things will get better once Tristan doesn’t require so much of my time. He does help me if I ask him to do thing like giving Tristan his binkey, getting his blanket, and even throwing away diapers. He is excited about going to school and getting to ride the bus. He will have the same teacher as last year and will be starting Sept 3rd. Cameron is a big help. He seems to do really well with everything. I think he is most excited about Tristan. He pays Tristan more attention then any one else. I think that he is building a bond with Tristan. Like William and Kadance have seemed to with each other. Cameron really likes to lie on the floor playing with Tristan or even just playing by himself next to Tristan. He is also excited to be going to school and will be in the same class as William. They asked us if we wanted to separate them but, we think that it would be better next year or even to wait until they are in 1st grade. Michael has started his new job and seems to be very busy. He leaves between 6 and 7 in the morning and doesn’t get home until between 6 and 7:30 at night. He is a Platoon Commander (Leads and supervises just over 40 Marines), Company Maintenance (responsible for the up keep of 46 Assault Amphibious Vehicles), Ordnance (in charge of 1385 weapons and optics) and Safety Officer. So maybe he is busy. As for all of us we haven’t gone and done much this last month. Our only Family adventure has been going to the beach and checking out the Sand Jam they had going on. There were 5 live bands and it was an all day concert. We only went for a short time but it was fun. Kadance loved the band and was rocking out to the music. Cameron and William couldn’t care less they just wanted to go back and play in the water. Tristan just slept in his little baby back pack the whole time. Over all I think that it was fun for all and was worth the effort.

We Are 4 Now!!!

Jun 1, 2008

Well I know that I am not too good at keeping this thing up to date. So here is my attempt. The last few weeks we haven't done much besides when dad comes home on the weekends. We have been to the beach which Cameron and William loved. They want to go again so that the big water can come and knock them over. We have also been to Chucky Cheese my favorite gross food and better games but, they seem to love it? We have built an 8x8ft sandbox and that is where the boy spend their days. It has been well worth the time and effort Mike put into building it. Thanks daddy-o!!! The boys and Mike also had a campout in the yard. This is the 1st time Kadance has slept in a tent and the 2nd time for Cameron and William. Mike said Kadance cried off and on all night and didn't want to sleep in the tent but, Mike made him tuff it out. This last weekend Mike and the Boys went fishing for the 1st time. They all loved it and came home to tell me all about it. Cameron & William have decided besides the dirt bikes they want for their birthday they also want fishing polls. I am glad they had so much fun but I am sad I didn't go. I did get allot accomplished painting our new dinning room we added on while they were gone. I'm not finished but, I got a good start on it this weekend. Anyhow besides all the fun things we have been doing we have also been trying to get our home back in order now the constructions is over. Then there are always last min things to be done before the baby comes. Mike has become my yard bum, he lives in the yard all weekend trying to improve it and I have to say he is doing an awesome job. Before I know it we’ll have the best looking yard in the neighborhood. Well I think that about covers everything. Till next time.

My 1st Bike Ride!!!

May 9, 2008

Well kid are fun as we all know. I just wanted to let you know that Cameron and William have decided that they don't want to be a part of the stinky hair club. They are going to extream measures to make sure of it. While I was getting dinner ready they decided to try to wash there hair with toothpaste. They had a pretty good lather going with the help of their electric tooth brushes and half a tub of power ranger toothpaste. I have to say they might be on to something that is if you want to smell like toothpaste. Any how a little water and all was back to normal and they achieved their goal no stinky hair for those two.

"Pooh-Pooh is Gross"

Aren't kids great they sure keep life interesting? Thursday Kadance surprised me again with another gift. I went to check on him while he was supposed to be napping and found him on top of his dresser. That he had peed all over and was butt naked covered in Pooh. He had so nicely pooh washed my walls and carpet for me. When I asked him what he thought he was doing? He told me, "pooh-pooh is gross".

Tristan's #1 Weighting in at 3lb 4oz.
If you don't see it look close this is a pic of his Face and Hand.

Who's Child are you?

I just thought that I should share how much Kadance is like Mike. Yesterday we had lots of fun. We we're getting ready to go outside to ride bikes. I had all the boys dressed and went to throw on some clothes I wasn't gone but a minute. When I came back in the living room there were Cameron and William watching Kadance unload all the ashes out of the fireplace from this winter. He was throwing it all over the living room. So I put him in the shower while I was trying to vacuum it up. When I went to get him out of the shower I found him cleaning the toilet with my curling Iron. So I am now joining the stinky hair club. Needless to say Kadance didn't fall far from the tree. I plead the fifth and take no blame. Liz

Whats New 4-15-2008

Well it has been a while since we have had an update. Since we have been home from Utah we have keep busy. The add-on on our home is almost complete. Kadance has already been in the emergency room to get a Staple. Cameron and William thought that was cool. Cameron & William have been continuing speech and are missing going to school. We went to visit their old friend at school and they loved it. As for Mike he has been doing really well at school. I think that it is draining on him but, he seems to still make it home on the weekends. We hope that he can continue to the boys look forward to it all week. Then there is me I do the same as always. I run the house hold, the kids run me and I too look forward to the weekends. As for baby Tristan the specialist says that he looks good they are just going to do growth scans and non-stress tests every 4 week to keep a good eye on him. Other then that I have now found out that I have Gestational diabetes so I have to checking my glucose levels 5 times a day and have been put on a diet. All I have to say is I hate being on a diet and feel for all of you who are on one or have been. Although I still plan on having a little birthday cake!!! Any how we hope all is well with you. Love, Our Little Family
