You know it has been a long time when you have to check your own blog to see where you left off. So After Kadance’s birthday Mike and I were able to attend the Amphibian Assault Battalion Birthday Ball. It was nice to have a night out. We will start with the youngest this time……At Tristan’s 9 mo. Check up he weighted 22 lbs and was 29 in long. He has started to clap his hands; every time he gets excited he grins and starts to clap. He is also standing on his own really well and is taking 3 to 4 steps at a time. He had decided that baby food is for the birds and has also switched onto a bottle (he likes to bite). He now has 5 teeth 3 top and 2 bottom. The biggest accomplishment in my eye is that he is now sleeping threw the night. As for the rest of my boys, Mike has had some time off and he was able to take Kadance and go on a school field trip with the boy’s class. They went to a locale park with a play ground and nature trail. All three of the boys enjoyed free play at the play ground. The nature walk was a good time too all the kids got to pick up little pieces of nature and put them in their bags. The next day at school they used them to make projects. The whole class was suppose to eat at the park but they were the last class to do the walk and ran out of time. So Mike got the boy’s lunches so that him and the boys could eat at the park before coming home. We had family pictures that afternoon so the twins got to get out of school early. We made it to the mall to get Tristan’s 9mo, Kadance’s 3yr and family pictures done. While we were there we saw the Easter bunny and rode on the carousel. So as you can see that was a big and busy day for Cameron, William, Kadance and Dad. Mike took the boys out of school a little early on a Friday so that they could go camping and do some fishing. Kadance, William, Cameron and Mike all went with Travis and his boys Alex (17), Nick (9). Where they went was to an island in the North Cape Fear River which is a part of the game lands. They always went fishing for Catfish which I don’t care for one bit, but Mike seems to have a good time when he brings them home. This trip they only bought one home but he was a big one, 33 lb Flat Head Catfish. Travis and his family ate him so I didn’t have too. Each boy got to go out on the river with Alex, or Travis by their self and the other two stay with Dad and got to shoot REAL GUNS! Travis has a cricket .22 so Mike showed the boys what a bullet could do to you and let them each shoot it. Then the twins got to shoot a 4-10 shotgun with it in their shoulder. Both of them did great and said it only hurt a little and wanted to shoot it more anyway. Well that night is rained on them but Mike had them all asleep and in the tent by the time it started so the only one that got wet was Mike. Kadance fell asleep in his lap sitting by the fire and Cameron and William feel asleep in the boat while Travis and Mike were checking the lines, in fact they were both asleep when dad pulled the big one into the boat. I would have to say it sounded like quite the camping trip and they all want to go again. And now for the whole family adventures, Then after church on Sunday we hit the road and headed to Virginia to go see Maria Cross, Mike’s cousin and her family. First things first we headed to the zoo it was packed but, well worth the trip there were a ton of animals and they were all active. The next day we when to the National Museum of Natural History it was really neat the only bad part was loosing Cameron. We had a great time! I don’t know what could be better then Family, good food and some card games. Poor Maria was probable ready for a break by time we left but we hope to return the favor sometime. On our way home we stopped at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. It is a really cool place. I wish that when JoRae and Sylvan were out last time we would have had more time to check it all out. We also took another small detour on our way home and stopped at the Cliff of Neuse State Park and took a little nature walk and got some really cute pictures. Once we arrived home it was time to color Easter eggs. Yes the Easter bunny is a little slow around here but, we still had a great time. Once our eggs were colored we set them out with the baskets so the Easter bunny could see them and hide them. Easter morning the boys were so excited mostly because Mike told them that they could eat candy for breakfast. (That is a good thing to do since we had dentist appointments the next day) They had a blast finding all their eggs and a few more that the Easter bunny left for them. Anyhow I think that that catches us up. Till next time.

Well I keep telling Mike that he needs to type up an update for the blog but, you can see how that went. This last month flew bye I am not sure why but, it’s gone. My guess is that until Mike deploys the time will keep flying. Then as soon as he is gone everyday will feel like an eternity. Anyhow back to the update. Starting with the oldest 1st,
Cameron is so excited about coming to Utah everyday he gets off the bus he asks me “Now are we going to Utah ”. That is what I get for telling him that we’re going when school gets out in the summer. His gymnastics teacher loves him he is the only one who doesn’t cause problems. He is my little mother always trying to make sure everyone is following the rules. Although he has been quit whinny lately! I think he must be in a growth spurt because he is always hungry. He eats breakfast before he goes to school then eats breakfast again at school. I have tried to break this habit but no luck. Now for number 2
William. He is soooo excited to go to Utah . He is already talking about his birthday. Actually I don’t think that he has quit talking about it since last year. He got a prize at school the other day for always making good choices. His teacher said she has only seen Cameron and him argue once and it didn’t last long. It ended with William telling Cameron “WAIT TILL WE GET HOME!” I am just glad that they are good for other people. Their teacher thanked me for having such good children. I thought to myself, are we talking about the same kids???? Because they aren’t good for me. On to number 3,
Kadance has made my month he is all but potty trained WAHOO!!! Only one left in diapers! I asked Kadance what he wanted for his birthday and he said “Birthday Cake”. He is so easy to please. So I let him look at picture of cakes and pick the one he wants. You are all going to have to wait and see what it is. Now for the youngest,
Tristan loves to do the one legged crawl it is so funny to watch. As soon as the bathroom door is open he races to the bathtub. He is just now starting to feel better although now that he is off his antibiotic I am just waiting for him to get another ear infection. I sure hope he doesn’t get one. He doesn’t sleep at night and doesn’t eat when he isn’t feeling good. Till Next Time, Liz

Our Little Guy is now 6mo. old, Happy ½ Birthday Baby! He now has two of his bottom teeth, is sitting up really well all on his own and is getting around quit well, he is all but crawling. At his check up he was 26 ½ in. and 19 lb. 14 oz. I guess I had better start thinking what I am going to do about the car seat situation. He eats 3 meals a day a full jar every time and at least 2 to 4 crackers or some baby cereal. You would think that he would not be nursing as much but he is still going strong about every 2 hours. He Loves to show off his one handed push up’s.
