Our Summer!

Well it has been a busy busy summer for the Michael Lovell family. The summer started out with lots of hot fun outdoors in North Carolina than then we all packed up and drove to Utah for the 4th of July fun in Delta with family. I had to fly back to N.C. while Lizzy and the boys stayed in Utah to play some more. Well not sure that Lizzy played, I think all she did was work on the new rental home we purchased in Delta. At least the boys got to play and have fun with cousins. I flew back for the 24th festivities in Hinkley and then had to drive to Barstow, CA for a work conference. Once it was over I headed back to Utah and packed up the wife and kids and we drove back to N.C. A week after getting back home I headed off to Quantico, VA for three weeks and attended the Marine Corps Tactical Logistic Operations Course. The second weekend I was there Lizzy packed up the boys and came up to spend the weekend. We had a great time going to the Marine Corps Museum, Arlington Cemetery and the Marine Corps Monument. On Sunday we headed south and met some friends at Bush Gardens where we spent a day riding all the rides the boys could go on. Lizzy and the Boys returned home the next day as I went back to finish out the last week of the course. The next weekend after I drove home Friday we loaded up on Saturday and drove to Southern Shores and spent the night and all day Sunday with my cousin Maria and her family at a beach house on the out banks. The house pool was great and the boys had a ton of fun with her kids while Liz, Maria, Aaron and I all just relaxed and visited away. Well mostly Liz and Maria. So as you can see I spent most my summer traveling by plane and car across the country and Liz and the boys did quite a bit by car. That pretty much rapped up our summer and now the twins are in the 1st grade and Kadance and Tristan are still hanging out with mom at home.
